What the letters mean

S, A, B, and C here repeat a September 9 community snapshot. Price is an access cost, not a strength score. The official game publishes no win rate or pick rate.

Left off the letters on purpose

Diyo, Mako, Ultra Instinct, Yujin Itadora, and Kaido were called provisional because the public comparisons were uneven. Kirrua, Dragon King, and any unnamed slot in the current 20 were not in that snapshot. Read their character pages instead of forcing a letter.

S tier

charactersNarotuSeptember 9, 2026 community lists grouped Narotu with general pressure in a crowded arena. The August 22 table put the unlock at 1,250 Yen, while an August 9 video said 1,500. Neither figure is a win rate.

Player decision A practical mid-ladder test if the live price is still near those reports. Re-read the panel, and do not buy it only because of the letter.

charactersLaffyThe same September 9 snapshot grouped Laffy with displacement that matters when many players share the island. The August ladder listed 500 Yen.

Player decision A reasonable early comparison after Asto and Michigo if you want knockback more than a long grind.

charactersSorcererCommunity lists put Sorcerer with burst that matters in a crowd. The indexed pass is [SALE]The Strongest Sorcerer at 399 Robux. Exact move behavior was still marked untested in the September snapshot.

Player decision Use it as an early moveset change after Goko, not as a final main.

charactersAstoThe first reported Yen milestone, 350, and an A-band specialist in the September 9 snapshot. A public event tracker later displayed an Asta Revamp window on October 10 without a move list, so the kit may have changed after that letter was assigned.

Player decision Good first purchase to compare with Goko if the panel still shows a small Yen cost. Recheck the moves if you played before mid-October.

charactersTanjuroSeptember 9 grouped Tanjuro with specialists who need the right range. The August ladder listed 26,000 Yen.

Player decision A late Yen goal only after cheaper kits already match how you like to start a fight.

charactersSukunoThe top of the August Yen ladder at 37,500, described in community notes as area pressure. The September snapshot kept it in A rather than treating the price as an S rank.

Player decision Chase it if you want the reported late Yen kit and you already win fights with mid-ladder characters. Do not assume it replaces spacing.

B tier

Player decision A fair experiment after the first three Yen unlocks, not a must-buy.

charactersSasukeiGrouped with kits that reward confirms. One August session mentioned fire breath and Susanoo while using Sasuke, which is a creator's naming, not an official move list. August 22 listed 7,500 Yen.

Player decision Test it when you can already confirm a light hit. Do not copy a combo from a different game's Sasuke.

charactersZuroCommunity descriptions call Zuro sword pressure, and the September snapshot left the exact placement weakly evidenced. August 22 listed 18,000 Yen.

Player decision Consider it if you like close sword range and the panel price is acceptable. It was not a consensus top pick.

C tier

charactersGokoThe reported starter. The C letter in the September snapshot means a learning kit, not that the character cannot knock anyone out. Ultra Instinct is a separate premium path on the Goko side and is not folded into this letter.

Player decision Stay on Goko until M1 range and Dash distance are boringly consistent.

charactersDekoSeptember 9 put Deko with Goko as an accessible practice kit. August 22 listed 12,000 Yen, so the letter is about evidence and role, not about being cheap.

Is the S tier the best purchase?

No. The September snapshot liked Narotu, Laffy, and Sorcerer for crowded fights. Sorcerer's premium price and move behavior still needed a live test, and a kit you cannot aim will earn less Yen than a starter you can control.
